Langtang Region Treks – Let’s lost into the mythical land

Langtang region is another popular trekking region of Nepal. Many trekkers trekked in this region every year. This part is nearby Kathmandu and people can access Dhunche, Syaprubesi, and Sundarijal. If people want to start from Sundarijal they have to do a high pass to reach Gosainkunda Lake. But if people choose from Dhunche or Syaprubesi there is a direct way to Langtang valley.

Langtang Valley is inside the Langtang National Park. This national park is listed as a UNESCO heritage site and this area is a protected area of Nepal. Therefore to inter, there need to cross so many different checkpoints by Nepal Police, APF, (Arm force of Nepal) Nepal Army. Requires the National Park entry permit which can issue from Kathmandu or the National park office at Dhunche.

This region is home to the flora and fauna. Because here will find the various number of plants and animals. Also, this region is popular for sight to Red Panda. While you do this trek you can enjoy the beautiful Himalayan range, Tibetan culture, and traditions. This culture is followed by the Tamang and Sherpa people.

The local legend about this place is found by the local Shepard. While chasing the Yak. In the local language, Lang means Yak and tang means Chase. 2 Tamang Heritage Trail Trek

Tamang Heritage Trail Trek is one of the newest trekking trails in the Langtang region. This trek is new but getting popular to the trekkers because of the culture and traditions of the Tamang in this area. The Tamang villages such as Ghatlang, Thuman, Bridhim, etc preserve the authentic Tamang culture. Ghatlang is one of the biggest Tamang villages in Nepal with its own uniqueness. So this is one of the treks of Langtang Region Treks.

3 Langtang Gosainkunda Trek – one of the Langtang Region Treks

Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is a combination of Langtang trek and Gosainkunda trek. Both trekking trails are very popular with local travelers and international trekkers. Gosainkunda Lake is a very popular and important Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site. Every year during August devotees from all over Nepal travel to Gosainkunda Lake.  During this trek the majestic view of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Gang Chemo, Dorje Lakpa, Mt. Manaslu, etc. Will see their heights same height as your while walking up there.
