Me and my friend made a plan for a scooter ride to Chitwan. As our plan, we hired a scooter and started our journey to Chitwan by scooter. Riding a scooter on the highway itself is quite dangerous because there are a number of vehicles running. Interestingly both of us have no valid driving license but we took the risk to go to Chitwan. The scooter had just four litter fuel tanks so we bought a five litter drum to take extra petrol with us.
Our ride started early in the morning from Kathmandu because we planned if possible to return to Kathmandu on the same day. Along the way, we stopped several times to eat something and refill fuel in Scooty. The road condition was not that good but our determination to go to Chitwan was stronger than the road conditions so we are winning to ride on that worse road. After 4 hours of ride, we arrived in Narayanghat. Narayanghat is one of the most popular places in Chitwan.
We spent some time in Narayanghat on the bank of the Narayani River. Our that trip was a kind of date trip for my dear friend because he was going to meet a girl. They know each other by social media and today was the first day they are going to meet each other. When we were there; she was already there and we met on a point there and walk to the bank of the Narayani River. After some time we ate lunch in a restaurant and said goodbye to that girl whom my friend met. Good thing was that the scorer ride to Chitwan was after some time they married and spending a beautiful life now.
When their date was over we ride to Sauraha Chitwan to spend an overnight. Due to the unknown of the Sauraha area, we didn’t find the hotels and we didn’t like Sauraha that much so we back to Narayanghat. We booked a hotel and after taking a good shower we walked around the Narayanghat. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset view from the bank of the Narayani River. Narayanghat itself is a flat area; this flat land itself is amazing for us because we were born and raised in a hilly region.
The next day we ride back to Kathmandu. We came slowly because we enjoyed the beautiful landscapes and the atmosphere of the Trisuli River. Trisuli River is very popular for rafting and fishing in Nepal. So that every day there are flowing many rafts and cannons. We also swam in the Trisuli river and ate fish from the Trisuli River. And then we ride back to Kathmandu. We spent a whole day reaching Kathmandu.
That scooter ride to Chitwan was one of the most memorable journeys of my lifetime. Because we ride a scooter without a valid license and back to Kathmandu. For my friend, that journey set the benchmark of his life’s line. And now they are having a good life with a beautiful daughter as a gift that date we made by a ride to Chitwan.
