Spent a whole day at Norvic International Hospital

I Today I spent a whole day at Norvic International Hospital because my sister in law was sick and need to do miner operation of (Ovum) patheghar. As the medical report that is the first symptom of that disease so that better to do operation as soon as possible. So me and my wife both of us stayed in the hospital.

Norvic International Hospital is one of the reputed hospital in the Kathmandu valley. Running by the richest man of Nepal Binod Chaudari and his Chaudari Group. This is my fifth visit in this Hospital before I used to go with my trekking Clients. Even one time I spent overnight too when one of my client  got sick rescued from mountain.

This Hospital has the best and latest updated equipments are using to treatment and check the patient. That is why this is one of the very expensive Hospital in Kathmandu. Because the expensive here is not that many people like other public hospitals in Kathmandu. Also, they  are saying they are the first and the number one  eco-friendly Hospital in Nepal.

While I stayed here I brought medicine to the operation center. I found it has also the similar system to call the patients relatives by the security guards. Another best about the calling is the security guards and they are very polite and friendly to talk with everyone. Doctors and nurses are also very polite and gentle. They try to provide the as much as best information to the patients and to patient’s relatives.

The canteen of the hospital is very neat and serves the best foods and also not that expensive. There is also possibility to take vehicle inside the hospital area for pickup and drop which is very good. They have their own medical center; when a patient need any medicine first nurses and doctors call in medical and staffs from medical will collect all the medicine what patient need.

However I found some bad things too. First one is there is toilet only in the ground floor and there also in outside. In toilet also there is one be entrance for both male and female. I think that is bit uncomfortable for ladies and people they get confused which one is for male or female. Second things is sanitize they are saying this place is cleaning often but while I staying there I haven’t see even one time they clean.

Also, they don’t have their own parking space. Nearby the hospital there is a parking center but that cost very expensive. Per hour 35 rupees and for whole day 150. I think when a patient came there for treatment such a huge hospital should provide free parking. And I found one staff who was working in the Lap to collect samples she was a bit rude and impolite with patients.

Spent a whole day at Norvic International Hospital was a bit tough and rough. Because I walked a lots ups and downs to buy medicine and for other things. Overall a day at this hospital was full of anxiety and lesson-full. Because I learnt how to manage things in the biggest organization.
