A Photographic Journey through Mulde Hill Trek: Capturing the Beauty of Nature

Mulde View Trek

Mulde Hill viewpoint (3637m) is the best alternative to Poon Hill (3210m) viewpoint because it offers a stunning view of the Mt. Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Mt. Nilgiri, and many more. Relatively new trekking trail that offers the best trekking experience inside the Annapurna Conservation area. Which can combine with popular trekking routes such as Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Khopra Danda Trek, and Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Mulde Hill Trek is not only for the mountain View Trek, it’s also for nature and culture too.

This typically starts from Birethanti after registering ACAP Permit at the ACAP check post. But better to start your hike from Kimche or Ghandruk because there is a road to Ghandruk and Kimche. From Ghandruk need to follow the trail to Tadapani and then to Dobato. Before reaching out to Dobato there are small places like Meshar Danda and Isharu Danda those places need to cross.

Trekking through the beautiful traditional Gurung and Magar villages, Rhododendron forests, Moisy jungle, and terraced fields. This is an opportunity to witness wild animals like monkeys, deer, Himalayan goats, and various kinds of plants, flowers, and trees. During the spring season, the rhododendron flowers will add extra jim-dandy during the Mulde Hill Trek.

Mulde viewpoint can add during the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek or Khopra Danda Trek. If you want to add during the Poon Hill Trek after enjoying the magnificent view from Poon Hill, you can travel via Deurali, Mulde Hill to Dobato. And if you want to add during your trek to Khopra Danda Trek, you have to spend one night at Dobato. From Dobato need to hike up to the viewpoint and then continue the walk to Khopra Danda.

Best time to do Mulde View Trek

The best time to trek in Nepal is the spring season (March, April, and May) and the autumn season (September, October, and November). Therefore these are the months to do Mulde Viewpoint Trek. Additionally, this trek can do during the winter season (December, January, and February) too because this trek is below 4000m and not extremely cold like Everest Base Camp, Thorong La Pass, and other popular treks. That is why this trek is three seasons trek in Nepal.
