To cross the bridge need to walk down to the river and then start climbing up to the stupa via a typical entrance gate. From the stupa, you need to walk on the flat land to reach Pangboche. Stop there for a cup of tea to rehydrate your stamina to continue your journey to Dingboche.
Today is the day fifth of the day-by-day itinerary to Everest Base Camp Trek. And you will be sleeping at more than 4000m above sea level at Dingboche. Stop at Somare for lunch because this is the last village before Dingboche. Again today need to do ups and downs with less air in the mountain.
Day 6 Acclimatize Day
Just in 5 days, you will cross more than 4000 meters, and your body requires acclimation. So today you can hike to several places such as Chhukung valley, Nangkastshan peak, or the Amadablam Base Camp. Among most of the trekkers, they hike up to Nangkastan Peak.

After a great acclimatization day, your journey starts to Laboche on day 7 of the Everest Base Camp Trip. The starting trail is the same one which you walked yesterday to the peak; and from the top of the hill, the Nepali flat begins to Thukla.
The trail Thukla is accumulative so that it might be easy to walk. Although because of the high altitude there will be a bit challenging to walk. Thukla is the only place where you can eat lunch and drink tea before reaching Laboche. Therefore stop there for some food and climb to the memorial park on top of the hill.
This memorial park is for those who died on Mt. Everest while they are climbing. And for those who died in the Everest region during trekking and other activities. After passing, this memorial park your excursion continues to Laboche. Reach Laboche might be heavy because of the less air in the Mountain.

Walking down from Kalapattar is easy and needs to follow the same way as walking up.
Eat breakfast and pack your luggage to trek back to Pheriche on the same trail to Thukla. From Thukla you need to take the left side to reach Pheriche. While walking to Pheriche it looks nearby but walking on the flat down is sometimes irritating. Overnight at Pheriche will be a good night’s sleep after two troublesome nights.
