To get to Timbu Pokhari, there are two options: one is to drive all the way to the nearby Pokhari. And another option is to hike from various places, because there are many routes to follow. However, if you are traveling from Kathmandu, you can fly to Bhadrapur or drive to Birthamode or Panchthar Phidim Bazar. Then from there you can take a wheel Jeep to your starting point. I suggest doing a couple of days’ hike rather than driving nearby and hiking. It will help to acclimate and give a better experience.
