The summer season is the rainy season in Nepal. So that during this period mostly the weather will be cloudy and temperature will be very hot and slightly cold during rain. Therefore to do trek during this season is not a good choice. However, there are some trekking trails which is best to do during the summer season such as Upper Mustang and Dolpa region.

Temperature-wise during the monsoon season or summer season a bit humid in the lower part of the Mardi Himal region. While climbing up there might be a chilliness because rain will make wet everything. Weather-wise there might be not so good views of the snowy peaks and even not possible to see the landscapes and surrounding areas.

Walk-in wet shoes and clothes in the mountain are not really fun. Wearing a raincoat or carrying an umbrella while walking into the Himalayas is not the adventures activities you wish to do. Although, this season is good for greenery enthusiasts in the alpine forests.

The Winter season is neither best nor bad season for Mardi Himal Trek.

Winter is the coldest season and snowy season and imagines how cold in the Himalayas. Mardi Himal Trek also goes all the way to 4500m above sea level. And the temperature will be minus and everything will be frozen. Drinking water, reserve water, water pipeline, ponds, and even brooks.

Therefore winter season is not the best time to do Mardi Himal Trek for those who are afraid of cold. Hence, if you are not a cold lover and snow lover don’t plan to walk to Mardi Himal Base Camp.
