Today on 21 January 2022 I attended the marriage ceremony of Mr. Aita Tamnag and Suljana Tamang. This ceremony was held in the Club Orchid Banasthali Kathmandu. I was there from the bridge side and there were a few numbers of people because of the coronavirus. And the government restriction to stop to spread of the new variety of coronavirus Omnicom.
The ceremony was followed the Tamang traditions and rituals. Both bride and groom were in Tamang costume and decorated with Khata (Tamang scarf), hat, and the full outfit was in the Tamang tradition. At first, the Lama Khenpo blessed both of them at the monastery and then drove to a Party place for the further wedding ceremony.
I was with my family and with my mother-in-law. As they invited us there be at 1 pm we went there around 1:30 pm. When we reached there the party was already started and people are gathered. We also put tike and Khata to bridge and groom and enjoy the party.
People were eating, chatting, and dancing there and we also joined to eat some snacks. We eat some snacks and drink some soft drinks before we ate dinner. After some time we ate dinner and enjoy some dancing there. People were dancing to the traditional music, which was nice to see. Around 5:30 pm the marriage ceremony was over and at 6:00 pm we were back home.
