Thamel – The tourist hub of the Kathmandu valley

Thamel is the main tourist crossroad in the Kathmandu Valley. Or even we can call this is the first place to start your adventure journey to the Himalayas. It’s located in the middle of the town and targeting to foreign tourists as well as Nepali adventure seekers. Every year thousands of traveler spends thousands of dollars on their living, eating, and other things.

Thamel is full of hotels, restaurants, trekking equipment shops, souvenir shops, book stores, massage, and Spa centers. And for easiness, there are many banks and their ATM booths. Those hotels and guest houses are for all the people. Because the price and choice is your what kind of facilities you are looking for. Even nowadays the hostels are getting prominent because of the backpackers tourists visit in Nepal.

Thamel is the center of the city because from there in few kilometers far is the International airport, bus station. And the other tourist attractions like Kathmnunru Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Swyambhunath all these destinations are all walkable from there. From there in a few minutes walk can find the local bus park, effortlessly can go anywhere inside the city from the bus park.

Thamel is the center is the valley and the hub of the tourists because there are all the facilities; a tourist can get like hotels and restaurants. From Thamel, there is easy vehicle access to go anywhere in the town.
