Splendid day to arrive in Pisang

Splendid day to arrive in Pisang during Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Our trip to Pisang started not very well. Because the weather is a bit cloudy and cold. After walking for some time sun came and we are happy to walk in sun and warm. But unfortunately, we have to walk on different trails because the landslide and flood destroyed the normal trekking trail. Walking in that new trail added one hour more to reach Bharatang from Chame.

We drank apple juice and ate apples in Brathang. Brathang is the place where is the biggest apple garden located in the Manang district. That is why there every trekker and traveler likes to drink juice and eat some apple items. From there they export the apple to Kathmandu and other cities of Nepal because all the apples can not consume in Manang.

After stoped in there we continue our trip to Dikur Pokhari. Dikur Pokhari is the place to eat lunch when people walk from Chame to Pisang. So that we also ate lunch in Dikur Pokhari. When we reached in there the weather was very clear and we enjoyed the mountain view, blue sky, and the warm sun.

There is two Pisang, upper Pisang and lower Pisang. Our plan is to go to Upper Pisang so we took the way to upper Pisang from Dikur Pokhari. From Dikur Pokhari it took around one and half hours to reach Pisang. When I reached Upper Pisang I was surprised because there are so many new guest houses. And most of the old traditional houses have vanished.

After we checked in in the Hotel we walk to the monastery. This monastery is beautiful and the view from the monastery is amazing. We can see the Mount Annapurna range and other skyscrapers’ mountain peaks. Overall we had a splendid day to arrive in Pisang
