Exploring the Ancient Tradition of Mane Festival in Humla Nepal

The Mane Festival is an orthodox festival celebrated by the primeval people of the Humla district. Humla is one of the remotest districts of Nepal located in the far western part of the country. This celebration takes place to welcome the spring season and the season of harvest.

This auspicious festival will celebrate annually in the month of January, or February. And it is a very important event for the local community. It involves various cultural and traditional activities such as singing, dancing, and religious rituals.

The itinerary for the trek typically lasts for about 6 to 10 days, starting and ending in Simikot, the district headquarters of Humla. Or even continue to Limi Valley Trek. The trek offers a unique opportunity to experience the region’s cultural richness and immerse oneself in the local way of life.
