The First time become a father of a beautiful daughter.

Well after married we planned not to become a parent, that is why we were taking time and enjoying our life. After 3 years of marriage in society, people are started gossiping about us but we planned to have a kid after 5 years. However, we need to change our plan and we changed our plan and we went on the process to have a baby. We checked our conditions and took advice from a doctor about how we can have a healthy baby.

After all, we were ready to give birth to a baby, and after one month we had good news we became parents of a beautiful daughter. Since that good news, we were more careful with food and other daily routines. every time we went to the hospital for regular follow up we always used to get good news that the baby was very healthy.  As time flew we were very excited and waiting for the day to deliver the baby in this beautiful world.

Our waiting going to be over on February 11 when we went to the hospital for regular follow-up. That time doctor said to us we have to admit to the hospital because the baby is ready to come out. As the doctor told us we were admitted to the hospital for processing of giving birth to our first child. Hence, we informed all the relatives and family members that we were in the hospital.

In the meantime, I was a bit nervous and excited as well because I am going to be a father. On the other hand, my wife was struggling and shouting because of the discomfort. Some of my sisters-in-law are helping us during hospitalized. We wait and wait but are not able to give normal birth to a baby so that doctors said we have to go for an operation. When I heard that news I felt that it can be the problem.

But, before going to an operation I have to find the two-pound blood. I tried to find the blood everywhere in Kathmandu but was not able to find it and at last; the hospital gave us the needed blood. My heart was beating very fast, my body was shaking, and not able to think what to do and how to do it while she was in the operation theater. We were all waiting in the waiting area for sound Who are Alisha’s relatives. Finally, that sound was heard and I ran there to see my wife and newly born baby.

First I show my wife and I was speechless because she was laying on the bed. I asked her how are you? She replied I am good. And then my eyes went to my daughter she was just nearby my wife. When I hold my baby first time that moment I forgot my wife she is also there; because the first time I became a father of a beautiful daughter and held her in my lap. I was so speechless, and I felt I stopped to breathe and tears fell.

Because of the operation, we have to stay a few more days in the hospital. We have to stay in the hospital for three days and then we were discharged. Came back home and we did the name-giving ceremony and Lama gave her name Nisang Dolma Tamang.
