Asan Bazar – The local market for everyone to go shopping

Asan Bazar is one of the oldest and most popular local markets in Nepal. The traditional houses, temples, small allies, vegetable stalls, and full of small shops around this area are eye-catching. This is one of the most crowded places in Kathmandu Valley because this place is known as the heart of the Kathmandu Valley.
Asan is the home of the Newari people. Newar is one of the oldest ethnic groups in the Kathmandu Valley. This group has its own cultural values, religious beliefs, traditional rituals, and other systems of living and doing things. Due to the home of this oldest ethnic community, this place is rich in the conservation of the Newari culture and traditions.

This is the heart of Kathmandu because around there live a huge number of people doing business. To get into the Asan there are several ways. The first one is from Jamal, the second one is from Newroad, the third one is from Thamel, and many more. Not only is easy access there, but this is also an ancient town in the valley

Asan Bazar is for everyone because around there we can find everything needed in our daily lives. From salt to clothes, Banks to jewelry, and small stalls on the street to the biggest shopping centers. The best thing about his area is that people can get everything they want to purchase.
