Today is the Annapurna Circuit Trek series day 2 and we walked from Jagat to Taal village. This is not the normal trekking camp of the Annapurna Circuit Trek, usually Taal village is the lunch Camp for most of the trekkers. We took this place as a camp side because this time our guest / trekker is a 67 years old lady. And she want to explore the region as much as possible.
Our second day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek started after a good breakfast in the hotel at Jagat. We started to walk at 8: am in the morning because our camp was just a lunch camp. Along the way we tried to see as much as possible and took time to walk ups and downs. One thing I see from Chamche to Taal walking trail is most of the trekers walking from the road.
While continue our Annaourna Circuit Trek series day 2 from Jagat to Chamje. We enjoyed the view of the Marsandi river, beautiful waterfall, and honey hives on the gigantic stone on the other side of the river. We show the closed tea shoes along the way too and that is not the good sign of the tourism industry. It’s because of the corona virus and no trekkers are walking via this trail.
I suggest everyone to walk via a proper walking trail from the right side river; and that is the nice walking trail and you will avoid the dusty and busty of the jeeps and bikes. Even guides are taking their guests from the road by giving them the wrong information; saying that the walking trail from another side is no more and we have to walk along the road.
We stopped at a place near Taal for a the tea, before starting to climb up to Taal and that tea shop was run by a lady. I talked with her and asked how many tourist come in a day. She said very few and last few days the number of tourists walking from here is increasing. And she asked me how many tourist are coming from this side. I replied a very few trekkers are coming from this side.
After a cup of hot tea we continue our Annapurna Circuit Trek Series Day 2 to Taal village. Ascending around 30 minutes, we reached on the top of the hill from where we need to walk little down and Nepali flat to reach Taal village. We continuely walked to Taal village and we show the destruction of the flood from last summer season.
From that catastrophic flood in last summer destroyed so many hotels, house, restaurant, and little shops. Still there are a lots of sands and damaged things are scattered everywhere. I talked with the local people about that flood experience and that sound very horrible and I feel really bad for them.
Overall today our Annapurna Circuit Trek journey was well and we enjoyed our walk from Jagat to Taal. At the day time we explored the Taal village and end our day by a good Dal Bhat in the Hotel.
